Wow, I cannot believe that tomorrow is August 1. The summer went by much too quickly. Macy will be starting middle school and Colton in second grade. Unreal. This is about the time in the summer that I start getting sad about the kids going back to school. I like having them at home with me and know that those years will be gone before I know it.
If you are sending your precious child to Denton Creek this year for the first time, please know that they are in wonderful hands. It was amazingly hard to send Macy that first time to kindergarten into the hands of a woman who I had just met for more hours in the day than I could believe. I honestly didn't think she could get through the 7+ hours without me. I was wrong. Not only did she do great, but she flourished under the care of the great teachers and staff at Denton Creek. So, don't worry. Before you know it, you will be sending your little kindergartner off to an even scarier land called, MIDDLE SCHOOL.........
