Happy Valentine's Day!

We had our evening PTO meeting last week.  Thank you to those of you who made time to come.  It was a very small gathering, but I think those who came appreciated having the opportunity to be involved.  We will definitely plan on doing another one at the beginning of the year next year.  

The Fairy Tale Ball was last Friday for the kinders.  From what I saw and heard, they had a blast.  I can't wait to see pictures.  For the rest of the school, Valentine's parties are on Tuesday.  I am sure, you are all, like me rushing to help fill out the Valentine cards for the class.  I always think it is a bit of a beating until I go to the party and watch the kids open their Valentine boxes to read each and every valentine.  It is so cute.  They get so excited about each and every one.  Even the 5th graders.  Once you get to middle school, they never get parties or have much fun and certainly don't have anything where parents come to interact with the students, so enjoy it while you can!
